Top 3’s: Goal of the Weekend – Messi’s assists, Valente Silva’s overhead, and Jesse’s cracker

3. Alba’s neat finish v. Sevilla

Attacking full-back found some space in behind the Sevilla defense after a delicious ball from Messi to tuck it away for the first goal in the Copa del Rey final.

3.1 Neymar’s placement finish v. Sevilla

Messi feeds another one of his teammates with a defense piercing through ball. Ronaldo is great all that but we all know he can’t do that!

2. Silva’s overhead kick v. Braga

André Miguel Valente Silva’s last-minute bicycle kick was either a work of a genius or of a desperate man (or in this case boy because he is only 20).

  1. Lingard’s half volley v. Crystal Palace

Jesse Lingard isn’t much of a footballer but he has the knack of creating something out of nothing. This stunning goal in extra time was enough to see Manchester United take the FA Cup and their first trophy since Fergie thought it would be cooler to bet on horses than it would be to manage a football team.
